Our Story

Maxmove got started back in 2005 by inventing a modern estate agency business model that increases efficiency through utilising cutting-edge technology and doing way with unnecessary overheads.

The old methods became outmoded with the advent of and advanced estate agency management tools so we couldn’t stop thinking about how different estate agency would be if it were designed from the ground up, using this new technology and totally different values - to put customers first.

We think it is important that our agents are local experts. So our agents live in the area they serve. We also think it is important that our customers are treated to personal service. We want you to feel like an important person with an important property rather than a reference number with just another listing on our books. So our customers have a dedicated agent from start to finish.

In another revolutionary step, we want our agents to be customer advocates, not just salesmen, so we survey each customer on our service and pay our agents a bonus based on the review rather than just commission for the sale.

To support our agents we hand pick an experienced team of specialists in the fields of marketing, technology, photography, administration and transaction management so they can spend more of their time dealing with potential buyers and providing you with all the advice and help you need.
